Here’s the most significant news: The distribution of installments under the Benazir Income Support Program is still ongoing. There are a total of 93 lakh women who are regular beneficiaries of the program, receiving quarterly installments. However, there are a total of one crore seven lakh women eligible under the program, whose PMT score is less than 32.

Installments will be released for this additional group, which includes individuals earning around 1.5 million after 9.3 million and between 1.7 million and 1.5 million. Notably, the scrutiny has intensified because the government’s allocated budget for the Benazir Income Support Program is only sufficient for 9.3 lakh women each time.
