Under this new policy, the upcoming installments for the next year will be released to those who comply with the policy. Those who do not follow these guidelines will have their installments halted in 2023. This post will provide essential information on the policies you need to adopt and the procedures to regain eligibility.
The distribution of the third quarterly installment under the Benazir Income Support Program has commenced, benefiting approximately 60 lakh families who are regular beneficiaries. However, numerous individuals are encountering various issues. Some are facing fingerprint problems, some have relocated from one district to another, and others are encountering a 938 error.

Let’s clarify the uncertainties. Individuals who haven’t received the installment need not worry. In the second phase, all deserving people with zero balances in their accounts will receive their installments. Those facing fingerprint issues need to update their thumbprints, and those with a 938 error can visit the Benazir Income Support Program office to collect their installment.
Additionally, all families under the Benazir Income Support Program with blocked or test accounts that are not re-eligible must submit a child form in 2024. Submitting the children’s form will make them eligible; otherwise, they will not qualify. Secondly, the government has decided not to issue children’s stipends with every installment every six months. Instead, children’s stipends will be provided after the month.
This means that one installment under the Benazir Income Support Program will be issued first, followed by children’s stipends. However, the second tranche will not include children’s stipends; they will be provided with the third installment. These are the two major changes implemented by the government, and further updates will be shared as new policies are introduced.

To check your current BISP balance and the date of the last payment, send an SMS containing your CNIC number without dashes to 8171. You will receive a reply SMS with the requested information.
2. BISP Mobile App:
To access your BISP information easily, follow these steps:
- Download the “BISP Beneficiary” app from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Register using your CNIC number and mobile phone number.
- Once logged in, you can view your current BISP balance, payment history, and other relevant information.
3. BISP website:
To access your BISP information through the official website, follow these steps:
- Visit the official BISP website at https://bisp.gov.pk/.
- Click on the “Beneficiary Login” tab.
- Enter your CNIC number and mobile phone number to log in.
- Once logged in, you can view your BISP balance, payment history, and other relevant information.

- Enter your CNIC number without dashes.
- Confirm that your mobile phone number is registered with BISP to receive SMS alerts and access the mobile app.
