BREAKING NEWS: BISP to launch Mobile Registration

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is introducing a new way to help people in rural areas across Pakistan. They are setting up Mobile Registration Vehicle Centers in different parts of Sindh and Balochistan to make it easier for eligible individuals to enroll.

The goal is to empower people in areas that are hard to reach, so they can benefit from BISP’s initiatives. This shows BISP’s commitment to including everyone and making a real difference by reaching out to all parts of society.

The Mobile Vehicle Registration Centers will be working in 25 specific regions in Sindh and Balochistan. In Sindh, they will be in places like Gothki, Umarkot, Tharparkar, Sanghar, and Jamshoro. In Balochistan, the program will be in Chagai, Khuzdar, Kech, Awaran, Lasbela, Sibi, Loralai, and Qila Saifullah. This is just the start, and they plan to expand to more areas in the future to help even more underserved regions.

Helping Remote Communities

The BISP Mobile Registration Vehicle Centers are meant to connect places far away with the important services they need. These mobile units are designed specifically for areas where it’s not easy to get BISP services.

The project makes it simpler for people in remote areas to sign up for services, fitting into the larger plan to make sure that everyone, even those in hard-to-reach places, can easily get assistance from BISP.

The Mobile Vehicle Registration Centers are set to operate in 25 specific regions across Sindh and Balochistan. In Sindh, areas like Gothki, Umarkot, Tharparkar, Sanghar, and Jamshoro have been selected. Meanwhile, in Balochistan, the program will cover Chagai, Khuzdar, Kech, Awaran, Lasbela, Sibi, Loralai, and Qila Saifullah. The initial coverage is expected to expand in the future, providing more assistance to underserved regions.

Helping Remote Communities 2023

BISP’s Mobile Registration Vehicle Centers initiative aims to bridge the gap between remote areas and essential support services.

Specifically designed for locations with limited access to BISP services, this project makes it easier for people in these areas to sign up for services through mobile units. This effort aligns with the overall strategy to ensure that even individuals in remote areas can conveniently access BISP’s assistance programs.

BISP to launch Mobile Registration

The implementation of the Mobile Registration Vehicle Centers is a joint effort involving various entities. The German Government, in collaboration with GIZ (German Society for International Cooperation) and the Sindh Government, has played a crucial role in establishing these specialized centers.

These mobile units, funded by the German government and GIZ, provide an accessible pathway for individuals in remote areas to reach registration centers.

BISP Kafaalat Program

Over the past year, BISP has achieved significant milestones. The funds allocated to the Benazir Kafaalat program, distributed every three months, have been raised to £4,250 per family. This increase has had a positive impact on millions of families across the nation.

Furthermore, the number of families receiving assistance from BISP has grown from 7.6 million to 9 million in just one year, underscoring the increasing importance and effectiveness of the program.
